GAB COMMISSIONER MASANGUID TO ATTEND TAGUM BOXING CARD

GAMES and Amusements Board (GAB) Commissioner Mar Masanguid is the special guest of honor in “The Redemption” boxing promotion slated on November 25 at the University of Mindanao Gym in Tagum City.
This was announced by boxing promoter Engr. Jilson Basang of the MB Northstar Boxing Promotions.
Masanguid confirmed his attendance to Basang when they met during the 55th Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) Convention held last Nov. 9-12 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
“Yes, I will be coming to Tagum to give support to our promoters, managers and boxers,” said Masanguid.
The boxing card is co-promoted by RATIM Sports Promotion in coordination with the Maco Golden Valley Eagles Club and the Tagum Cirque of Shooters Inc.
It will feature four championship fights including the vacant WBC Asia Boxing Council super bantamweight title in the main event.
Masanguid, a former barangay captain in Agdao, Davao City, had also just arrived from attending the first International Boxing Federation (IBF) B & R Regional Convention two weeks ago in Macau, China.
“I want to give my support in behalf of GAB and also our Chairman Baham Mitra and fellow Commissioner Ed Trinidad,” said Masanguid.
Masanguid is also the president of the Solid Duterte Supporters Group (SDSG) The Original Nationwide (formerly the Duterte For President 2016 Movement).
