GAB WINS WORLD BOXING COUNCIL COMMISSION OF THE YEAR AGAIN…. declared ahead of the Game

The Philippines Games and Amusements Board once again won over 165 member countries the very prestigious Commission of Year award in the on going 59th Convention of the World Boxing Council being held in Mexico City.

This was after Chairman Abraham Mitra impressed the attendees of the convention by showcasing what GAB did during the pandemic namely, financial assistance Thru the dswd, free medical check ups for licensing, wbc financial assistance to former champions, assistance in drafting of safety protocols among others but mainly because of the Portable infrared ct scan machine. Many countries were impressed and surprised that there is such a machine and lauded gabs efforts for injury prevention and the additional safety measure.

Wbc President congratulated and lauded the efforts of gab during the pandemic, only one in the world free medicals for boxers and trail blazing move to get brain scanners ahead of everyone.

Dr. Paul Wallace, wbc and California state athletic commission medical head said during the medical committee meeting that the Philippines Thru Gab is “ahead of the game”.

Gab chairman Abraham Mitra thanked the wbc for recognizing the innovative and responsive efforts of gab declaring gab for the second time the wbc commission of the year, 2017 and 2020. A fitting farewell and lasting legacy says Chairman Mitra as he lauded the efforts of the whole GAB family.
