Gavril KOs Brooker to win NABF title

In a good action battle for the vacant NABF super middleweight title, Ronald “The Thrill” Gavril (17-1, 13 KOs) overcame stiff opposition from Christopher Brooker (11-2, 5 KOs) before scoring a spectacular tenth round KO on Saturday night at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas. With promoter Floyd Mayweather looking on at ringside, Brooker dropped Gavril in round five. However, Gavril came back to rock Brooker in round six. In round ten, Gavril dropped Brooker hard twice to end it. Time was 2:04.

In the co-feature, super lightweight Ladarius “Memphis” Miller (12-1, 3 KOs) scored a second round KO over Ronald Rivas (5-5-1, 3 KOs).

Undefeated super lightweight Sanjarbek “War” Rakhmanov (6-0-1, 3 KOs) decisioned previously unbeaten Jonathan Dinong (5-1, 4 KOs) over six.
