Spanish Jon Fernandez, super featherweight silver champion of the World Boxing Council, will fight in the United States against O’Shaquie Foster at the Firelake Resort Casino in Oklahoma.
The Spanish boxer arrived on Monday to the city of Oklahoma and did his first training in order to adapt to the time change and adjust for the official weigh in.
JonFer has improved his position on the EBU and WBC rankings. He is ninth ranked and the current silver champion, after last September of last year, when he defeated previously unbeaten Alexander Podolsky.
Jon has said that Foster, who has 13 wins (8 by KO) and two defeats, is the most difficult opponent he has had so far.
The American has won his two bouts of 2018 over Kaylyn Alfred and Frank de Alba.
