“IRON MAN” DETERMINED NOT TO BE HAMMERED!

On October 14th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Jermell’s “Iron Man” Charlo will defend his WBC super welterweight  title against dangerous challenger Erickson “Hammer” Lubin, and both are keen to prove their mettle:

JERMELL CHARLO

“I’m honored to fight in Brooklyn. This is another exciting card like  when I  won my WBC belt.  What I had to do then I’ll repeat on October 14th. It’s interesting to see a young, hungry guy like him going after my world title.”I’ve been here for a long time, it’s a great stage for both of us.”

LUBIN

“This is the fight I asked for!  I said I wanted to go for the WBC’s green and gold title, and when it was officially confirmed, I was very excited, so I’ve been training for this for a long time. I’ve been sparring  with bigger guys, guys who throw good combinations like  him.  I’m mentally and physically ready for this fight. Jermell has some power, he moves very well, but I’ll be prepared for everything to become the new world champion.”
