
Israil Madrimov Defeated Walker in the WBA 154-Lbs Qualifier
Unbeaten Uzbek contender Israil Madrimov defeated American Eric Walker vía 12-round unanimous decision in a WBA super welterweight World Cup qualifying match.
The match was a special attraction last Saturday in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Israil Madrimov (6-0, 5 KOs) appeared to clearly drop Eric Walker (20-3, 9 KOs) in the 9th round. But the knockdown was not called by the referee.
In the 12th round, Madrimov again dropped Walker. But this time it was called a low blow.
Anyways, in the end, the Uzbek by wife scores of 116-110 (twice) and 116-111.
