DAVAO CITY – Minimumweight Melvin “Gringo” Jerusalem, featherweight Jeo “Santino” Santisima and lightweight Esneth “Hard Hitter” Domingo have all recently joined the Sanman Promotion and ZIP.
The 26-year old Jerusalem (15W-2L, 9KO) of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon last won against Reymark Taday of Cotabato by retiring him in the 5th round on Aug. 17, 2019 in Ormoc City.
Santisima (19W-3L, 16KO), on the other hand, recently lost to Emanuel Navarrete of Mexico via a technical knockout in the 11th round during their fight for the WBO world super bantamweight title last Feb. 22 in Las Vegas.
The 24-year old Santisima of Masbate earlier won by retiring former OPBF super bantamweight Rene Dacquel of Malate in the third round last Dec. 14 in Bogo.
Domingo, 21 (13W, 1L. 7KO) of Lebak, Sultan Kudarat won a majority decision over Minh Phat Sam of Vietnam last Nov. 3 in Ho Chi Minh City.
Jerusalem is ranked No. 1 by the World Boxing Council and No. 4 by the International Boxing Federation while Santisima is rated no. 8 by World Boxing Organization.
“I’m very honored na they trusted us,” said Sanman president JC Manangquil.
“Thank you also to ZIP for the partnership and trust they gave Sanman” said Manangquil.
“We just continue to work hard to reach everybody’s ultimate goal which is to win a world title,” he said.
