Jin KOs Kaiki, will fight Hiraoka for vacant Japanese super light title

Japanese Youth super lightweight champion Jin Sasaki of Hachioji retained his title by knocking out Kaiki Yuna of Tokyo in 2:03 of the 2nd round last July 17 at the Fujimori Gym in Hachioji, Japan.

The 19-year-old Jin remained undefeated with 11 straight wins and 10 knockouts while Kaiki, 22, suffered his first setback after seven wins with two draws.

Meanwhile, super bantamweight Musashi Yoshino stopped Shunpei Kubo in the 2nd round in the supporting event.

The bubble boxing event was promoted by Issei Nakaya.

Jin will now face undefeated Andy Hiraoka of Yokohama for the vacant Japanese super lightweight title on Oct. 19 at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.

It will be promoted by Hideyuki Ohashi of Phoenix Promotions.
