Joe Joyce will defend WBC Silver title against Carlos Takam

Britain’s Joe Joyce will defend his World Boxing Council Silver Heavyweight Title against tough Cameroonian fighter Carlos Takam.

It will happen at the SSE Arena in Wembley, UK, on Saturday, July 24, on a card that will be broadcast on BT Sport.

This great event will be presented by Frank Warren’s Queensberry in association with Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing.

Destructive Joyce (12-0, 11 KOs) is back in action for the first time since his 10th round win over Daniel Dubois last November.

On the other hand, Takam (39-5-1, 28 KOs) comes from defeating North American Jerry Forrest by unanimous decision in July of last year.

Takam, who will fight in the UK for the fourth time when he faces Joyce, who is totally focused on coming out with his arm aloft.

Joyce is determined to get a big win over Takam and spectacularly defend his WBC Silver title, to show that he is near the top of the heavyweight division.
