Aging Joven “Jorda Ishihara” Jorda from Leyte made a successful comeback by scoring a unanimous decision over Sauen Tsana (Seua Sitjeaprim) of Thailand last Dec. 19 at Rachadapishek in Bangkok, Thailand.
The 47-year-old Jorda, who is now based in Bangkok, Thailand was the one aggressive during the fight.
He kept on throwing his punches while his opponent, also a Muay Thai expert was also countering.
But Jorda proved to be more consistent as he remained aggressive in the 6-round fight.
“Ang tibay ng mukha. Nag adjust lang ako baka ako maubusan kasi almost 12 years and a half wala ako laban,” (The durability of the face. I just adjusted so I wouldn’t run out because I haven’t fought for almost 12 years and a half) said Jorda.
It was Jorda’s comeback fight since he made the last outing against Hayato Kimura of Japan wherein he lost by a technical knockout in the 4th round last Oct. 16, 2009, at Korakuen Hall in Japan.
Jorda now has 18 wins with 15 knockouts against 26 setbacks and four draws.
“Tuloy-tuloy na itong pagbabalik ko,” (I will keep coming back) said Jorda.
Jorda is being supported by Highland Bangkok in coordination Eaung Lausaowanwat and Galaxy Gym.
