THE “JOSE SULAIMÁN” TOURNAMENT MEXICO CITY GRAND FINALE

With a card including eight fantastic fights,  the second edition of the Jose Sulaiman  amateur boxing tournament , concluded wit a fanfare at Plaza Garibaldi of Mexico City.

In the presence of World Boxing Council, President Mauricio Sulaimán, and the delegate of the Cuauhtémoc delegation, Ricardo Monreal, the spectacular reached its zenith.

Also present was the tournament’s organizer, former world champion Carlos Zárate, and current world champion, Rey Vargas, super bantamweight champion  and Guadalupe Martínez, super flyweight Empress.q

Among the youngsters who came out with their arms raised and with a WBC belt in their possession are Ivan Garcia, who defeated William Bello in flyweight in the second round.

Alejandro Díaz defeated Fernando Saldaña by UD; Diego Morales, defeated  Mariano Hernandez, as welterweight and Ivan Salazar beat Erik González, at qlightweight.

At the end of the event organized by the Metro Collective Transportation System, represented by Sandalio Sainz de la Maza, the delegate of Cuauhtemoc said that it is the first card to be presented at this location, where it is expected to be an ongoing fixture.
