“JOYA” VOWS IT’S DIAMONDS ALL THE WAY!

This brainwave was evolved and planned at the 2nd WBC Female Convention, and now all these months later, it’s almost reached its brilliant conclusion.  The thrilling, highly competitive fights included: Ana Arrazola vs. Raja Amasheh, Melissa McMorrow vs. Esmeralda Moreno, Mary Ando vs. “Yessica Chavez.Then, after the first stage we witnessed: Yessica “Kika” Chavez vs Ana Arrazola and Esmeralda “Joya” Moreno vs. Ibeth “Roca” Zamora. So now, we’re down to the final two.  Kika is the reigning WBC female flyweight champion.  La Joya again won the WBC female light flyweight belt.  It took a monumental fight against Ibeth “La Roca” Zamora, who didn’t lose her title without a gruelling, marathon slugfest.

Esmeralda Moreno attended the WBC weekly conference to talk about this all important commitment, where she will be contesting for the WBC flyweight championship, plus the prestigious WBC Diamond Belt.

“It was really hard to reach this stage. I spent more than five years striving to get back to Boxing’s elite level.   I will win this tournament, proving  I am the best fighter in the división and I will conquer the prestigious WBC Diamond belt.  I am sure I will  be able to do it,   as this is not for me, it’s for my daughter.”   Esmeralda and Kika have fought twice before.  Both have a victory, so now it’s high time for THE DECIDER.   The likely timeline for the Diamond Final is August.  A venue is still being decided.
