Kalenga wins WBC Francophone title with ninth-round KO

Fighter from the Congo, Youri Kalenga, stopped Slovakian Michal Plesnik, at the Olivia Business Center, Gdansk, Poland.

From the beginning, Kalenga took control, although Michal showed courage, it was nowhere near enough. The end came in the ninth round, when Youri hit his rival with power, knocking him out. With this triumph, Youri Kalenga won the Francophone cruiserweight title endorsed by the World Boxing Council.
