Hundreds of fight fans flocked to the Gran Plaza in Cancun to witness the fascinating, intense and final public training session of the stars who’ll be mega colliding this Saturday at the Oasis Arena in sunny Cancun.
Top of the bill is WBC flyweight world champion, Yessica “Kika” Chavez, defending her belt against the former WBC light flyweight champion, Esmeralda “Joya” Moreno. This classic encounter will be beamed throughout Mexico via Televisa Deportes.
Both, the champion and challenger, proved to be in phenomenal shape, for the conflict ahead…head to head!
Esmeralda was the first up in the ring, showing her elegant and accurate punches, completing some fluid shadow boxing rounds, with her trainer Victor “Vaquero“ Díaz.
The champion, “Kika” Chavez, received an outstanding and upstanding ovation. Trained by Hall of Fame great Ignacio “Nacho” Beristain, Kika’s silky, flawless skills were evident to all ringside.
Kika and Joya go to war on Saturday night, near swaying palms, right in the heart of The Oasis.
