LEARNING FROM MISTAKES “ROCA” ZAMORA FACES WBC ELIMINATORY

Former double world champion Ibeth ‘Roca’ Zamora is in fighting fit, sturdy shape  to face the eliminatory duel against the dangerous Isabel ‘Estrella’ Millán, on October 21 at the Auditorio Benito Juárez de Zapopan.

Zamora Silva trains again with the guidance of Cuban Carlos Duarte, with the avowed aim of recovering the WBC light flyweight asap.

“It was very hard to decide what is good, but also wrong in my career; There is still much to improve,  but we have already made the necessary changes. The new Ibeth Zamora is much more mature, not only as a person but as an athlete. Sometimes it is difficult to realize that there are things that are not right, when you win. Aspects that are not analyzed so deeply, but the defeat with Esmeralda brought us many good things, such as being able to realize our successes and mistakes.  I really liked the version of Kika Chavez in the grand final of the tournament. it would be great to fight against her, but first I will clash with Isabel Millán.”

Zamora (27-6, 12 KO’s) and Millán (19-3-2, 8 KO’s) lead  a card presented by Promociones del Pueblo in association with Tequila Armero and with the support of Cavall Sport and Playboy Mexico. Their fight will be broadcast by Televisa Sports , throughout  Mexico.
