MAMA, CAMELLION MAKE WEIGHTS IN GENSAN

GEN. SANTOS CITY (Jan. 19) – Unbeaten Jayson “Smasher” Mama of Gen. Santos City and Michael Camelion of Bukidon both made their weights today for their championship fight tomorrow for the vacant WBO Asia Pacific Youth flyweight title at the Gaisano Mall Atrium here.
Mama of Sanman Boxing Gym tipped the scales at 111 lbs. while Camelion of Malaybalay City submitted 110 lbs. only.
They will be fighting for 10 rounds according to Datu Fahd Sinsuat, new Officer-in-Charge of the Games and Amusements Board (GAB) in Davao Region.
The 20-year old Mama, a former amateur standout, is still undefeated with eight straight wins and four knockouts while the 23-year old Camelion is toting 10 wins with 6 losses, one draw and 8 knockouts.
The boxing card is promoted by the Jim Claude “JC” Manangquil of the Sanman Promotions.
