DAVAO CITY – Lightweight Eduardo “The Nightmare” Mancito of Jose Abad Santos, Davao del Sur until now did not receive his complete payment from the Tanzania promoter.

The 28-year-old Mancito has already complained it to the Games and Amusements Board but nothing could be done on it.

“Malayo daw kasi at magastos kung ito ay reklamo doon (It is said that it is far and expensive if it is planned there)”, said Mancito (18W-11L-2D, 9KOs) in a Facebook message.

He only received USD1,800 from promoter Selemani Semunyu for the fight against Salimu Jengo of Tanzania for the Universal Boxing Organization World lightweight title held last Nov. 28, 2020, at the Next Door Arena, Masaki in Dar-Es-Salaam.

Mancito lost by a unanimous decision. He was supposed to get an additional payment since it was a world title fight.

Mancito and coach Alan Alegria went home to Manila without the complete payment.

“Malabo na iyon Wala na kay mahirap man kay didto himoon ang kaso adto pata didto gasto kaayo ug pamasahe (It’s no longer difficult because the case will be filed there until it costs a lot and the fare is very expensive)”, said Alegria.

Mancito will now fight the undefeated Charly “King’s Warrior” Suarez of San Isidro, Davao del Norte on July 3 at the Urdaneta Cultural Sports Complex in Urdaneta City.

Mancito, who is now residing in Tondo is presently been training in Highland Boxing Gym in Manila under Marvin Alegria.

He is currently 140 lbs. Mancito’s sparring mate are flyweight Miel “Silent Assassin” Fajardo (7W-1L-1D, 6KOs) and middleweight Dan “Iron Man” Nazareno Jr. (22W-14L-0D, 17KOs)

“OK lang ang sparring ko (My sparring is OK)”, said Mancito.

They are schedule to leave early for Urdaneta because of the bubble.

The Mancito-Suarez fight is the main event of the “Relentless: Fists of Fire” boxing showdown featuring 10 bouts.

It is promoted by Robert Hill of VSP Boxing and Cucuy Elorde of UKC Pro Boxing Edition with Edmundo Dellosa as the matchmaker.
