MANYUCHI DEFENDS SILVER BELT

The World Boxing Council silver welterweight champion from Zimbabwe, Charles Manyuchi, will defend his title for the first time, fulfilling one of his greatest dreams.

Manyuchi will face Frenchman  Damien Martin in Harare, Zimbabwe, on September  30. Charles is thrilled to defend his WBC crown on home turf, and he promises to keep working towards the WBC world belt, which is in the grip of Danny Garcia.

He also thanked the support of the Government of Zimbabwe and his promoters for organizing this event.
