MARTINEZ AND. GARCIA PREPARE WITH LIONESS PRIDE

WBC female super flyweight champion  Lupita Martinez and her challenger Irma Garcia, are all smiles in the countdown to their February 3rd grin and bear it clash  at the Tec de Monterrey in the State of Mexico.

Irma García, who was the first at  microphone at the WBC presser,  thanked the champion for the opportunity to fight for the belt, recognizing the quality and bravery of Lupita. However, she was crystal clear in saying that she is highly motivated and training to the fullest to fulfill  her dream of conquering the title.

Lupita thanked her team, the WBC  and promoter Pepe Gómez, the man who believed in her.

“Irma is a great boxer, she is disciplined and talented, but I know who I am and I know what I have at home: my beloved belt.

I know that she has had a great preparation, but Irma will not take away my dream and  my effort and the belt of my children. I will fight for them like a lioness. They are my engine  and the championship belongs them” she commented.

She assured that this preparation was stronger and better than the one she had for her bout against Zulina Muñoz, as she considers that each defense is a greater commitment, because the important thing is to remain champion.

In this way, Lupita and Irma pledged that they will offer a great card with excellent  performances, as this will be the first Mexican women’s fight of 2018.
