Saul “Baby” Juarez, the mandatory challenger for the WBC minimumweight title and champion, Wanheng Menayothin, have completed and passed the official weigh in, prior to tomorrow`s fight in Chonburi, Thailand.
The Mexican fighter, who will have his first title opportunity, weighed 47.400 kilograms, while the champion, who`s defending his belt for the 5th time, was just a tad heavier at 47.600 kg. Rex Walker is the WBC Supervisor.
Menayothin will be fighting against the second Mexican of his pro career. He defeated Osvaldo Novoa in 2014 to conquer the WBC belt. The champion is unbeaten, with a KO ratio of 40%.
Saul “Baby” Juarez has earned his spot, by twice defeating two times former WBC world champion, Adrian “Confesor” Hernandez, and also by defeating “Gallito” Novoa, in a mandatory bout. The clash Juarez Vs. Menayothin, will be transmitted live to all Mexico through TDN . The card will start 3 am time Mexico.
