MERCITO GESTA HAS ENROLLED IN THE WBC’S CLEAN BOXING PROGRAM

Filipino boxer Mercito Gesta has a great opportunity when he faces World Boxing Council Diamond champion Jorge Linares (43-3, 27 KOs) on January 27 at the Forum in Inglewood, California.

Mecito, who only has one defeat, with 31 victories and two draws,  has showed showed his great professionalism by enrolling  in the WBC Clean Boxing Program (CBP).

The original idea came from the lifetime  president of the WBC, José Sulaimán, sowing the seed of inspiration that the current president of the body, Mauricio Sulaimán, has continued with the development of this important program.

Gesta is very motivated due to the fight he will hold against Linares, as he says he has the skills to defeat the Venezuelan.
