This Saturday, the Dignity Health Sports Park, in Carson, California, will have a great Mexican battle for the World Boxing Association (WBA) interim featherweight title.

Eduardo Ramirez and Isaac Avelar’s fight will be on the undercard of a card that will feature the reappearance of former super heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz against Chris Arreola.

Ramirez is the WBA’s 126 lbs. number 1 ranked and has two wins in a row. “Zurdito” is 26 years old and already has experience in world championship fights. He has knocked out his last two opponents and feels ready to take the interim belt.

Avelar has less experience but is currently ranked No. 8. The 23-year-old defeated Namibia’s Sakaria Lukas in his most recent bout and is going for his first world title shot at 23 years of age.

The fight is expected to be full of action between two courageous opponents who are eager to win the crown.

Ramirez has 24 wins, 2 losses, 3 draws, and 11 knockouts, while Avelar has a record of 17 wins, 2 losses, and 10 knockouts.
