MEXICO VS JAPAN- A WOMEN´S BOXING CLASSIC

A regal joust between a classic boxer Vs a big puncher, as WBC female flyweight champion “The Queen of Ecatepec” Yessica “Kika” Chavez encounters the three times crowned world champion, Naoko Fujioka.

Japanese and Mexican boxers  have clashed 30 times with the minimumweight, light flyweight, flyweight and super flyweight titles on the line. Until now, Japan has 18 triumphs while Mexico has 12.

Naoko Shibata is the fighter with most victories over Mexicans,  defeating Mari Salinas, Guadalupe Martinez,  Alondra García and Ana Arrazola; while Etsuko Tada has three victories.

Ibeth “Roca“ Zamora, from Mexico, has been able to defeat Shibata and Mari Ando. While Mariana “Barby“ Juárez has defeated  Shindo Go  and Asami Shikasho.   Esmeralda “Joya” Moreno became champion defeating  Naomi Togashi.

“Kika” has  great opportunity to narrow the margin difference  between the two great boxing nations,  when she faces Fujioka in  the main event of this card, in Ecatepec, presented by Promociones del Pueblo and that will be broadcasted through Televisa
