MITCHELL AND ITUARTE SUCCESSFULLY DEFEND NABF JR CROWNS

Undefeated NABF heavyweight jr champion LaRon Mitchell (16-0, 14 KOs), successfully defended his title by knocking out Michael Bissett (14-10, 8 KOs) in the third round in Corona, California.

Mitchell, from San Francisco, opened up, to send Bissett to the canvas three times in the third round and finished him in the fourth round, on the stroke of one minute and fifteen seconds.

Jr NABF Featherweight champion, Erick Ituarte (18-1-1, 2 KOs) defeated previously unbeaten Alberto Torres (10-1-2, 4 KOs) by split decision.
