Mykquan Williams, Marco Huck in action May 17th on Fight Pass

By Patrick L. Stumberg

We’ll have some Friday entertainment on May 17th, courtesy of Lou DiBella and UFC Fight Pass. East Hartford super lightweight prospect Mykquan Williams headlines against Rickey Edwards in the former’s first 10-rounder, while Marco Huck and Toka Kahn Clary add some name value.

Several unbeaten fighters are set to appear, including featherweight ShoBox alumnus Irvin Gonzalez Jr. and Dominican heavyweight George Arias (not to be confused with the retired Brazilian journeyman).

Williams (14-0, 7 KO) and Edwards (12-2, 3 KO) have had unremarkable careers thus far, so let’s focus on the guys we know. Former cruiserweight champion Huck (41-5-1, 28 KO) will make his second heavyweight appearance against TBA, having stopped Yakup Saglam last June. Clary (25-2, 17 KO) fought his way to a featherweight final eliminator against Kid Galahad, who defeated the Liberia-born Providence resident by unanimous decision to earn a crack at Josh Warrington. He fights at super featherweight against Carlos Manuel Reyes, notable only for losing to Nicholas Walters and Miguel Berchelt early in their respective careers.
