The UFC’s welterweight division is warming up again.

A matchup between 170-pound contenders Neil Magny and Gunnar Nelson was added to the official UFC Liverpool event page Tuesday after first being reported by Farah Hannoun.

The May 27 show marks the first booking of 2018 for both Magny and Nelson.

Magny (20-6) last fought at UFC 219 in December, where he won a unanimous decision over former interim champion Carlos Condit. In his past five outings, the New Yorker has alternated wins and losses, but his overall UFC record stands at 13-5, with notable wins over Condit, former UFC champion Johny HendricksHector Lombard, and Kelvin Gastelum.

This will be the first time Magny has fought in Europe, which will not be the case for Iceland’s Nelson, whose last three fights have taken place on the continent.

“Gunni” is coming off of a knockout loss to Santiago Ponzinibbio in the main event of UFC Glasgow in July and he is now 3-3 in his last six fights. He is 7-3 in the UFC and 16-3-1 overall as a professional.
