The Jan. 19 Pacquiao-Broner Showtime pay-per-view undercard has been finalized, and will feature a meeting between light heavyweight contenders Badou Jack and Marcus Browne.

Jack (22-1-3, 13 KO) is a former 168-pound titleholder coming off of a draw this past May against Adonis Stevenson, which followed his Sept. 2017 win over Nathan Cleverly in Jack’s move up to 175 pounds.

Browne (22-0, 16 KO) is a former U.S. Olympian and teetering between prospect and contender at this stage, with Jack serving as a clear step up from the likes of Thomas Williams Jr, Seanie Monaghan, and Lenin Castillo, Browne’s last three opponents.

The interim WBA “world” title at light heavyweight will be on the line, which makes the usual boxing sense. The WBA currently “only” has a “world” champion, Dmitry Bivol, who is plenty active, and there is no, if you can believe this, “super world” champion. That’s been vacant since Andre Ward retired.

The vacant WBC bantamweight title will be on the line between former title holder Rau’shee Warren (16-2, 4 KO) and France’s Nordine Oubaali (14-0, 11 KO). Oubaali eliminated Warren in the second round of the 2012 Olympics in London.

We’ll also see unbeaten Filipino featherweight Jhack Tepora (22-0, 17 KO) in action, as he faces Mexico’s Hugo Ruiz (38-4, 33 KO), a former super bantamweight titleholder.
