Another former UFC fighter has signed with the new Professional Fighters League.

Ramsey Nijem (9-6) recently inked a deal with the promotion, MMA Fighting has learned.

Nijem left the UFC in 2015 after losing two fights in a row to Carlos Diego Ferreira and Andrew Holbrook. He reemerged on last year’s 25th season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” dubbed “Redemption,” and went 1-1 on the show. He hasn’t competed since then.

The lightweight, who lost to Tony Ferguson on the TUF 13 Finale in 2011, holds notable wins over Joe Proctor, Justin Edwards and Beneil Dariush.

Formerly known as World Series of Fighting, PFL, which recently signed fellow ex-UFC fightersWill Brooks, Rick Story and Chris Wade, is expected to announce it’s newly-revamped roster in the coming weeks. Its first event is currently slated for June 7.
