Pinoy Boxing Promoters, Managers support Sulaiman’s re-election

THE Filipino Boxing promoters and managers are also happy on the re-elected president of the World Boxing Council (WBC) Mauricio Sulaiman held recently.

“He deserves it. He is doing a great job with the WBC,” said JC Manangquil, president of Sanman Boxing Promotion in General Santos City.
There is no problem with the retention of Sulaiman according to Dante Almario, president of the Philippine Boxing Promoters and Managers Association

“As long as he will continue to [do] good policy of WBC,” added Almario.
Promoters-managers Brico Santig and Dino Olivette are also both happy of the election.

“Maganda ang pamamalakad nya kaya gusto ng mga members”,
said Brico Santig of the Highland Boxing Promotion in Benguet.
“Keep up the good work,” said Santig, who is based in Thailand has been in Manila since January due to the lockdown caused by the Covid-19.
Olivette, on the other hand, said that nobody can replace Sulaiman as of now.

“OK naman ang takbo maliban lang sa ratings na kailangan pa ng request na sana e gawing basehan ang mga panalo ng dapat irating,” [The ratings are OK except that it needs first a request. [But] It only needs base on the winning of the ratings] said Olivette of Binan, Laguna.
