This coming Monday, Saul “Canelo” Álvarez, will return to Mexico City, to receive the WBC middleweight belt, which recognizes him as champion of the World Boxing Council.
Saul was crowned middleweight champion on September 15, in Las Vegas, Nevada, defeating Gennady “GGG” Golovkin in a tremendous bout, which is a strong Candidate for Fight of the Year.
“Canelo” has had no public presentations in Mexico City since the tour he held for the fight against Julio César Chávez Jr, in February 2017.
During this special meeting in Mexico City, Mauricio Sulaiman, President of the WBC will present him with the fabled belt.
