Rikiishi to fight Taichi on Nov. 1

LIGHTWEIGHT Masanori Rikiishi of Japan will face compatriot Soreiki Taichi on Nov. 1 at the Aioi Hall in Kariya, Aichi, Japan.

The 26-year old Rikiishi (8W-1L-0D, 4KO) recently beat Yuichiro Kasuya by a unanimous decision last Aug. 19, 2020.

Rikiishi earlier demolished Freddy Fonseca of Nicaragua last Sept. 15 in Aioi Hall.

Taichi, on the other hand, crushed Masaki Saito by a unanimous decision last Oct. 10 in Korakuen.

However, he was TKO’d by Kazuma Sanpei in the 5th round last Feb. 13, 2020 in Korakuen.

Meanwhile, southpaw Mammoth Kazunori (6W-2L-1D, 6KO) will fight Keisuke Iwasaki (4W-2L-1D, 1KO) in the under card.

It is promoted by Toshiro Matsuo of Midori Promotions.
