NOR Rizan of Singapore and Piced Chianawa of Thailand will battle for the vacant WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental bantamweight title on August 4 at the Far East Square in Singapore.
The title fight is promoted by Willip Ho under the Singapore Police Licensing and Regulatory Department.
Rizan is toting 8 wins against 2 losses while Chianawa alias “Jaipetch Chaiyonggym” is 7-7-0.
The 39-year old Rizan previously won only by a split decision against Master Suro last January 7 at the Johor International Convention Center in Johore Bahru, Malaysia.
Chianawa, on the other hand, captured the vacant Thai super bantamweight title via a UD over Manot Comput in his last fight held June 21 at the Thai Boxing Stadium in Ramkamhaeng, Bangkok.
Meanwhile, former professional MMA fighter Will “The Kill” Chope of United States is eyeing for his third straight win as a pro boxer against Singapore’s Zakaria Bin Ismail, who is making his pro debut.
Chope previously stopped Alfred Leko via a 2nd round technical knockout in his last outing last July 9 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Also pitted in the card are welterweights Rocky Irawan Sikumbang (6-4-0) and Theena Thayalan (1-0-0).
