World Boxing Council bantamweight champion Yulihan ‘Cobrita’ Luna, returns home to face a non-title match, against Esmeralda Rojas at the Laguna Olímpico Arena on September 10th.

A press conference was led by the champion herself, accompanied by some fighters also be on the card, including her sister Wendy ‘Canelita’ Luna.

“It is an eight-round fight that will help us a lot, especially because in October it is almost a fact that the first defense of my world championship will arrive and we want to prepare in the best way”, said ‘La Cobrita’.

In recent days it had been said that Yulihan’s rival would be Kandy ‘Rubia’ Sandoval, however, it did not succeed and was confirmed as her rival Esmeralda Rojas.

“Whoever my rival is, I always prepare myself with everything for a fight, I am not making less of anyone, all rivals deserve respect and as such I prepare myself, always thinking of giving my best,” Yulihan commented.
