SHIELDS SPEARHEADS A RING RETURN IN JANUARY

Double Olympic gold medallist and now WBC super middleweight champion, Claressa Shields, aims to start the new year in brilliant form,   by again starring in a ShoBox card, on January 12 at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, N.Y.

Claressa will be taking on tough Tori “Sho Nuff” Nelson, who holds an unbeaten record of (17-0, 2 KOs). Victory will propel Claressa to a battleground against the WBC middleweight champion, Christina Hammer (22-0, 10 KOs), who blasted out Gifty Ankrah last Saturday in Munich, Germany.
