“SIRI” SEEKING A WIN AS OPPOSED TO A THAI

This Saturday  Orlando “Siri” Salido (43-13-4, 30 ko’s) and Thai Amphon Suriyo (18-2-0, 14 ko’s) will clash  in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, adding another interesting chapter to Thailand vs. Mexico.

Thailand has had 52 world champions in its history, including: Chionoi, Chitalada, Galaxy, Payakaroon, Singwancha, Sor Rungvisai, Sor Vorapin, Wonjongkam, Kokietgym and  Kratingdaengym.

Mexico has more than 160 world champions. The vast roll call is headed by JC Chavez Sr, Juan Manuel Marquez, Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera, Ruben Olivares, Carlos Zárate, Ricardo Lopez and so many, many  other greats.
