SOR RUNGVISAI RECEIVED BY THE PRIME MINISTER OF THAILAND

Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, the newly crowned WBC super flyweight champion, was greeted by General Prayut Chan-O-cha, the Prime Minister of Thailand.

The champion accompanied by General Kovid Bhakdibhumi, Vice-President of the WBC and Ms. Kobkarn Wattnavarangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sport of the country, commented on how honored he was to be received by the general.

General Prayut recognized Srisaket for his fabulous victory, which brought great happiness to all Thais and wished him good luck in his upcoming bouts, and urged him to defend his championship title successfully many times  in order to continue bringing joy to his country.

“Srisaket is already an idol for all teenagers, who will be motivated to have a better future,” he said.

The prime minister also asked the Secretary of Tourism and Sport to further develop  of professional boxing in order  to give more opportunities to young promises.
