DAVAO CITY – Super flyweight Rolly “Bomba” Sumalpong (11W-3L-3D, 4KOs) of Surigao del Sur comes back to China to fight Yinhuan Su (7W-4L-2D, 1KO) of Changsha on Dec. 8 in Nantong.

The 27-year old Sumalpong recently had a split draw with Jun Zhao of China for the WBA Asia Bantamweight title last Nov. 15 at Zhenhaibao Theatre in Yinchuan.

Jun was knocked down once in the 3rd round. The judges were Taohu (96-92), Yanfang Zhao (90-98), and Zhengbing Ye (95-93).

But WBA China submitted a revived result as 96-92, 90-98, and 94-94 in the next day with an announcement of miscalculation by the Supervisor Michael Huang.

Yinyuan (7W-4L-2D, 1KO), on the other hand, won by a unanimous decision over Shan Wu last Jan. 11, 2019, at Wansheng Binjiang Rd Venuev in Chongqing.

But he lost by a split decision over Lap Cheong Cheong of Macao last Dec. 31 at Guangzhou Olongbao Stadium in Guangzhou.

Three other fights are also included in this bubble boxing event.

The bouts are:
Super middle Zulifukaer Ahemaiti vs. Vertu Lys Ikombo Otoka; lightweight Muzaipaier Tuersun vs. Weifeng Cao; featherweight Xingyu Ge vs. Xiao Long.
