Thammanoon to defend crown against Siridech on May 29

Undefeated Thammanoon Niyomtrong will defend his World Boxing Association super world minimumweight title for the 9th time this time against Siridech Deebook on May 29 at Nakhon Sawan in Thailand.

Thammanoon alias “Knockout CP Freshmart” has a total of 21 straight wins with seven knockouts.

He last defeated Norihito Tanaka of Japan by a unanimous decision last March 3, 2020 in Nakhon Sawan.

Siridech, on the other hands was also very busy last year despite the pandemic situation.

Siridech had three bouts in 2020 – all in victory. First, he won by a unanimous decision over Decha Puttaluksa last Jan. 11.

Siridech then scored a split decision over Seksan Khumdee last July 26 before he settled a unanimous decision over Gerttipong Kumsahwat last Nov. 7.

The bubble boxing event is promoted by Piyarat Vachirarattanawong of Petpiya Fight.
