Tyson Fury (27-0, 19 KO) has his next date set, as the 30-year-old former heavyweight champion will look to get back to the mountaintop against Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KO), who defends his WBC heavyweight title against Fury on December 1, live on Showtime pay-per-view.

Fury had been out of the ring from November 2015 until his return this past June, and fought again in August, winning a pair of tune-up bouts.

There are some concerns about Fury not being fully back in peak form yet, but he says that’s not an issue.

“People talk about me only having two fights since my layoff, but that doesn’t bother me at all,” Fury said. “This is the Tyson Fury show. It always has been. This is my era, and I proved that when I beat Klitschko in his own backyard. Is Wilder the biggest puncher I have faced? You don’t know that until you are on the floor. It is all about not getting hit in this fight. Until someone beats me, I am the king of the heavyweight division. Long live the king.”
