Fabricio Werdum won a pretty comfortable decision over Travis Browne at the co-main event of UFC 203. After a dominant opening round, things slowed down and was pretty uneventful the rest of the way, until after the bout ended that is. As Bruce Buffer was announcing the scores for the bout, Browne’s coach Edmond Tarverdyan — who already lost his voice by shouting and cursing in the corner — was mouthing off at Werdum.
Werdum then responded by approaching him and throwing a front kick to push him away. A brief scuffle ensued with cornermen from both camps trying to stop Tarverdyan and Werdum from escalating it further. UFC vet Babalu Sobral was also seen on camera being prevented by officials from entering the cage
Tarverdyan, who is more known as the head coach of Ronda Rousey, was then thrown out of the cage by officials with his entire corner.
Video of the scuffle are surfacing online, and can be viewed here.
