The UFC will take the Octagon to Northern Ireland for the first time on November 19th when they put on a Fight Night card in The SSE Arena. It’s actually the first of two shows that day, as the promotion will also run a show in Brazil later on the 19th.
The headliner in Belfast will see South Korean veteran Dong Hyun Kim taking on Icelandic grappler Gunnar Nelson. Kim (21-3-1, 1 NC, 12-3, 1 NC UFC) hasn’t competed in a year due to injuries. He has won six out of his last seven bouts though, only losing to current welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. Nelson (15-2-1, 6-2 UFC) is coming off a submission win overAlbert Tumenov in May.
