The final UFC event of September, and the last one before we’re treated to Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor on October 6th, originates from Sao Paulo, Brazil at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera. Light heavyweights Glover Teixeira and Jimi Manuwa headline the card, in what is a must-win for both.
The rest of the event looks quite strong for an FS1 event, most notably with women’s bantamweight contender Ketlen Vieira battling former Invicta FC champ Tonya Evinger, as well as welterweights Alex Oliveira and Neil Magny squaring off, plus rising middleweight star Antonio Carlos Junior going up against Elias Theodorou.
No bout order is set beyond the main event, but the card is just about complete with 12 fights. Here’s what is currently set for September 22nd down in Brazil:
Glover Teixeira vs. Jimi Manuwa
Ketlen Vieira vs. Tonya Evinger
Sam Alvey vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira
Alex Oliveira vs. Neil Magny
Antonio Carlos Junior vs. Elias Theodorou
