Following one of the wildest nights in UFC history, we look forward to the next event – which just happens to take place in a smallish New Brunswick town called Moncton. UFC Fight Night: Volkan vs. Smith goes down on October 27th in the Avenir Centre in town, and the headliner will come in the light heavyweight division with Volkan Oezdemir meeting the streaking Anthony Smith.
The co-main event was supposed to see Conor McGregor’s buddy Artem Lobov meeting Khabib Nurmagomedov’s training partner Zubaira Tukhugov. However, that fight is most likely scrapped after Tukhugov got into it with McGregor after the UFC 229 headliner – and then bragged about it on social media.
