Undefeated Charly “King’s Warrior” Suarez of San Isidro, Davao del Norte will face Jon Jon “Wolvarine” Estrada of Pasay on Feb. 13 at the 2nd Floor, Mega Mart Burgos Poblacion Norte in Paniqui, Tarlac.
The 32-year-old Suarez has already won four straight knockouts since 2019.
Last year, Suarez scored a technical knockout in the 3rd round over Dave Barlas of Gen. Santos City to win the vacant Philippines Luzon Professional Boxing Association (LuzProBA) super featherweight title last Feb. 7 at Santo Domingo.
He earlier also won the vacant Mindanao Professional Boxing Federation (MinProBA) lightweight title via a 2nd round knockout over Justin Cabarles of Digos Cy last March 5, 2019, in Dujali Gymnasium in Braulio E. Dujali, Davao del Norte.
Estrada (11W-7L-1D, 10KOs), on the other hand, did not any fight last year. The 31-year-old orthodox fighter lost two fights in 2019 both against foreign opponents.
Estrada first lost by a unanimous decision to Russian Vladislav Krasnoshein last March 23 at RCC Boxing Academy in Ekaterinburg.
He again lost to Koshin Takeshima of Japan by a unanimous decision last July 20 at Aioi Hall in Kariya.
