“USA GLOVES NOT PISTOLS”

The exhibition fight between former champion Juan Manuel “Juanma” López against Albert “Entrenadorcito” Rivera, will be  on March 31st  at the Ruben Rodríguez de Bayamón Coliseum.

This event will send an important message “Use Gloves Not Pistols” . this project comes after the  incident at the fight between Juanma López and Wilfredo Vázquez Jr, last October at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum, where tempers frayed and snapped. Lopez`s  and Vázquez’s coach , Albert Rivera, exchanged multiple blows after the bout.

The main protagonists of this ensuing evening of exhibition have some common sense observations:

“Juanma and I decided to give an example to  youth about the mistake we made and we are going to have a charity exhibition for  people in need. What better way of helping  than  transforming something negative to something positive for communities, “said Alberto” El Entrenadorcito “Rivera.

“Juanma” López commented that “many children saw me fighting with  Albert in the Clement Arena  and now we have to tell them and accept , that we made a mistake and that we will do something about it to change things.”
