Vitali Klitschko- A Mayor with safety and ecology focus

Vitali Klitschko distinguished himself as a great world heavyweight champion and since he retired from the ring, he`s devoted his energies in  serving the great City of Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.

Vitali, 47, was elected mayor of Kiev on July 5, 2014,  succeeding  entrepreneur Halyna Hereha.

Vitali  is also a leader of the Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reform and a member of the Ukrainian parliament. He graduated with a PhD from the National Academy of State Administration.

Vitali has been praised by the  inhabitants of Kiev, who have benefited from the programs that he`s developed, including combatting  corruption and stamping out street crime,  Kiev has been fitted with many high-tech surveillance cameras, as part of the successful project called: “SAVE CITY.”

Taking a leaf out of the ecological book, Vitali has transformed Kiev into the City with the most trees in the World.
