The WBA has ordered a purse bidding for the title fight between unbeaten Japanese WBA Light Flyweight “Super Champion” Hiroto Kyoguchi and WBA “regular champion” Esteban Bermúdez.
The procedure will unfold online via Zoom on Friday, January 28 at 3:00 p.m. U.S. ET.
Kyoguchi needs to defend against the Mexican Bermúdez who is his mandatory challenger.
The clash comes to be as part of the ongoing WBA titles reduction strategy in effect for already several months.
The purse bidding will be directed by the Director of the WBA Championships Committee Venezuelan Carlos Chávez
It will have a split of 75% for the Japanese super champion and 25% for the Mexican regular champ.
The WBA has already sent official notifications to the representatives of the fighters and to all boxing promoters interested in staging Kyoguchi vs Bermudez WBA-108 World Title fight.
