The World Boxing Association (WBA) completed the first streaming broadcast from its website in a joint effort with Telecaribe. The oldest title organization in the world has the objective of supporting Latin American boxers and broadcasting fights in which different talents participate, such as this Friday night in Barranquilla, in which Hugo Berrio (27-7-1, 18 KO ) dominated Argel Berrio (15-5, 9 KO) in a stellar fight.

The evening was dubbed “Fire in the ring” and reached a large number of fans, who connected through the web portal of the WBA to appreciate the different battles that took place in the Main Plaza of Barranoa, Atlantic.

Hugo Berrio dominated Argel Berrio in a rematch fight after both fought last year in a bout that ended without a decision. The “Samario” conquered the national title of Colombia and was the star of the evening.

In total, seven bouts were displayed during the day, among which the triumph of the former world challenger Rober Barrera over Victor Berrio. The majority of the fighters present were very talented young individuals who take their first step ups in showcase fights thanks to the transmissions which can be seen around the world in the aforementioned portal on the WBA website.

The WBA intends to expand the project and continue to provide quality boxing for fans in addition to demonstrating the talent present in the countries of South America and give them better opportunities in the near future.
