Undefeated, WBC #4 ranked super lightweight Cletus “The Hebrew Hammer” Seldin (19-0, 16 KOs) destroyed Jesus “Chino” Selig (19-4-1, 12 KOs) in the first round on Friday night at The Paramount in Huntington, New York. Seldin smashed Silig to the deck with a big right hand. Silig beat the count, but got leveled again with another crushing right hand. Time was 2:49.
Unbeaten jr welterweight Danny “El Gallo” Gonzalez (12-0-1, 5 KOs) hammererd out an eight round unanimous decision over Curtis “The Trap” Morton (4-6-4, 0 KOs). Gonzalez’ non-stop work rate produced an 80-72, 79-73, 79-73 verdict on the scorecards.
Welterweight Tyrone James (3-0, 2 KOs) didn’t break a sweat in a first round KO over Kasif Muhammad (0-2). A body shot ended it at 2:57.
Light heavyweight Naim Terbunja (8-1, 0 KOs) outscored Lanny Dardar (3-6-2, 1 KO) over six rounds by scores of 60-54, 59-55, 59-55.
Jr welterweight Terell Bostic (2-0, 1 KO) outpointed Miguel Gloria (1-3, 0 KOs) over four rounds. Scores were 40-36, 39-37, 39-37.
Middleweight Laurend Stewart (3-0, 2 KOs) scored a second round stoppage of Daniel Flores (0-3). Stewart dropped Flores in the opening seconds. The bout was waved off after Flores was rocked again in round two. Time was :31.
