WBC PRESIDENT THROWS FIRST PITCH AT THE TIJUANA BULLS MATCH

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman threw the first pitch of the  Tijuana Bulls’ baseball game, in which they defeated the Warriors of Oaxaca 4-3.

Mauricio played baseball  for much of his childhood and youth, in the team “Vagabundos”, from the  Lindavista Baseball League in Mexico City, along with his brothers. They were trained by their beloved Father  Don Jose Sulaiman.

Mauricio was selected to participate in the world championship of childrens’ baseball in Panama in 1981. He played in  diverse positions in the field, but especially as pitcher. That’s why  Mauricio Sulaiman, felt very honored and nostalgic in Tijuana, by throwing the first pitch.
